A high-intensity, fast-paced workout made to maximize your time in the gym. Through channeling the athlete in all of us, you will dive into elements of speed, agility and teamwork using bodyweight movement, dumbbells, sliders, TRX bands, to name a few, all under the guidance of a TRF Coach. Come in as an individual and leave as a team – The Refinery Fitness team! If this is your first time, please arrive at least 15 minutes before class to ensure you have everything you need prior to class starting. You should consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs. This is particularly true if you (or your family) have a history of high blood pressure or heart disease, or if you have ever experienced chest pain when exercising or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, smoke, have high cholesterol, or have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in physical activity. Do not start this fitness program if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately.

The Kettlebell class is a functional workout run with Kettlebells and bodyweight exercises in a small class setting. The Kettlebell movements used in this class range from fast and dynamic to slow fluid movements. Fast, dynamic KB movements are meant to build explosive power, increase joint mobility and keep an elevated heart rate. While slow KB exercises are meant to increase total body strength and stamina. Kettlebell work takes FOCUS and PRECISION and overtime you will learn to REFINE your skills! We will incorporate bodyweight movements and static holds help promote endurance in muscular strength as well. All these exercises combined help with overall body posture, positioning and function.
